Global Awareness

We want our pupils to understand the important role they play and can play, and how they can fit into the intricate puzzle of the world at large.

We live in a real world and therefore must be focused on exposing children to the advantages of having a global perspective from young. This enables them see the world from a wide viewpoint, helping them tap into opportunities outside their local sphere and giving them a broad and balanced outlook to issues, and even life in general.

We have

all our curriculum topics linked with global and environmental themes
regular cross-continent pen pals,
email sessions,
school international noticeboard,
staff exchange and training visits, and
working with our sister group youngadventures.org have trips outside Nigeria and encourage "our little friends" to come over too.
